I have a Radeon 7500 dual head card. I have a touchscreen LCD monitor attached as the secondary display in a HTPC setup. This secondary display is used for control of the PC only. A CRT projector is attached as the primary display.
Is it possible to have an ICON on the desktop put the secondary display into standby using UltraMon? I assume this wouldn't be a normal feature but can it be achieved easily? This capability is desired so that in a dark room the LCD monitor can be shut-off with a simple touch. The monitor can then be awaken with another touch which is normal behaivor.

So far I haven't found a way to put a single monitor into standby mode.
One possibility would be a custom app that blanks a monitor by creating a black fullscreen window.

Thanks for the reply. I really need it to go into sleep mode as a black screen still emits light which interfers in a theater setting.
