Hi everyone..
OK, I just picked up a PCI S3 Virge 2MB to use alongside my GeForce3 Ti200 for a dual monitor setup. figured I didn't need anything fancy since all it would be displaying is text.
I practically got it for nothing... :D :D
Anyways...a couple of problems:
1) I have to run it in 16 bit color...my GeForce3 still can do 1280x1024 with 32 bit...but all the icons show up without full color settings. I've enabled "Show icons using all possible colors", still a no go.
2) Whenever I fire up UT, it runs in Windowed mode and it's really choppy..this is on my GeForce3. Yet when I disable the second monitor it runs fine.
Any ideas, people?

1) you don't get truecolor icons unless every display is running the same color depth. sorry.
2) does it go back to fullscreen if you set it so in the game menu?

1) OK then..that makes sense.
2) Nope. JK2 on the other hand runs fine, but it's a little dim.
