Forums -> Multiple monitors -> OpenGL 2D Acceleration on Multi Monitors??

I have 4 OpenGL applications that are running X-Windows, using the Exceed X-Windows Emulator function. I can get the windows to come up on the different monitors, and refresh. The problem lies in the refresh rate, I need at least 60Hz. The applications are noticably choppy. We are using 4 GeForce 2 Cards, Single Output, and utilizing the Win 2K multi monitor settings. I heard that having a Quadro 4 Card would solve this, because they are the first to have 2D acceleration. Is this true?? Anyone have any suggestions? Could we change the code and make the z-axis 0, and fake 3D acceleration?

Thanks

Do you have enabled OpenGL acceleration on all monitors? See the OpenGL FAQ for details.
