I have two monitors, both with DVI input and VGA input. I want to switch the monitor cables, so my center monitor will receive digital input and my second monitor analogue input. But when I have them switched, Windows doesn't boot properly - I get the dreaded blue screen and "Repair Windows" message. The problem goes away when the monitor cables are switched back.
Is there a fix for this?

No idea what might cause this, that shouldn't make any difference. What happens if you boot with just one monitor connected?

I've tried that too, and I get the same crash.

What's the exact error message you get? If it's related to the video card driver that might indicate an issue with the video card.
