Hi, just stumbled across this forum, so Hello.
I have 2 Matrox G450's and a Matrox MGI P69 MDDE128F
The resolution will not increase although when each card is run on it's own the resolution for example of the G450 cards will happily go to 1920 x 1440
When all 10 monitors are running i seem to be stuck with 1600 x 1200
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
Regards Shane.

Hi Shane, how do you have the monitors arranged? For example in a single row, or 3x3, etc?
Does Windows Display Properties or the Matrox software also limit the maximum resolution if all 10 monitors are enabled, or does the issue only occur with UltraMon Display Settings?

Hi, thanks for the reply, i have them L5 x H2, if i look in windows display settings, the 2 that are on the P690 are at their maximum setting ie 1600 x 1200, but if i was to just run that card on it's own it would to over 2048 x 1536 on 2 monitors
The G450's are half way between Low and High, but if i increase the setting it just reverts back to 1600 x 1200
If i just run one G450, i had the one card on 1920 x 1440 on 2 monitors and 1600 x 1280 on the other 2 for a couple of months, but if a run all 10 the resolution drops down to 1600 x 1200 on all of them, the next step up is 1600 x 1280, but even trying that resolution on just one of the 10 won't work and it reverts back to 1600 x 1200
The above seems the same on either Windows or Ultra, though on Windows i can only use the 2 G450's as the drivers get blocked for the P690
Kind regards Shane.

Hi again, it almost feels as though i'm sharing resources, ie use 2 monitors have a high resolution, add a couple more and the resolution drops, get to 10 and we are way down at 1600 x 1200 feels a bit like i'm only using 1 card and it can't cope with the work load, not 3 where the work is shared out.

Maybe you're hitting a limit for the maximum desktop width, that's just a guess though as I don't know if there even is such a limit. To confirm this you could try what happens if you arrange the monitors 3x3, with the 10th monitor on the 4th row.

In that case my guess would also be a resource issue as you already suspected, I would recommend checking with Matrox if they can confirm this and offer a solution.
