Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Firefox 28 and up - No move buttons

Prior to Firefox 28 everything worked wonderfully. But since Firefox 28, I no longer have any UltraMon buttons for Firefox, though I'm really only concerned with the move buttons. I've tried using the "alternative method" to add buttons, tried it without that method, tried adding Firefox with and without full path. I've reinstalled UltraMon and Firefox.

However, UltraMon works with every other application including Explorer.

Windows 7.1 64bit - Enterprise
Firefox 30
Non-admin account on Corporate computer that is locked down; though I have access to an admin account as needed.

Not sure what might cause this, for me the buttons work fine with Firefox 30.0, I tested on 64-bit Windows 7 with UltraMon 3.2.2, both with an admin and a regular user account.

Do the buttons get added if you move or resize the Firefox window?

Unfortunately they do not get added. Is there any logs or other information I can provide that could help an investigation?

Additional steps I've tried:
- Created new Firefox profile
- Tried Firefox in Safe mode

Could you run a debug monitor such as DebugView? If yes, you could check if you get an error message from UltraMon when you start Firefox, this will show up in the debug monitor as a message starting with 'UltraMon: can't extend wnd'.

You'll also need to enable debug output for UltraMon, to do this run regedit.exe, then go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\<version> and create a new DWORD value named DebugOutput, then set it to 1. You'll need to restart UltraMon for the change to take effect.
