Hi

I plugged a LCD TV into the back of my laptop and hey presto I can see a mirror of my desktop on the TV. Both monitors (default & plug & play) are shown in the device manager. But only one monitor is shown in the display section of the control panel which means I can't extend the desktop to get more than the mirror image.
Is there a way to get XP to recognise the second monitor or do I have to buy Display-to-go or the EasiDock 1000EV?

Thanks

Nick

OK i did it. For anyone like me having a similar problem you need to check the display adapter in device manager, right click and see if you can't update software to one that supports dual monitor. Mine was SIS 630 or similar. After updating the driver the two monitors were recognised in display section of the control panel.
