I want to know if my MSI Geforce4 TI4200 will be able to display "true" multi-monitor support on XP Home. So lets say i can maximize a program on one monitor instead of spanning on both or have two different resolutions. I just want to make sure it is possible before i go and shell out another $100 for second monitor and find out it isn't. Thanx

No. There's a tweak for Windows 2000 (see Enabling Dualview In Windows 2000) but it doesn't seem to work with XP.
Hopefully nVidia will address it soon.

Works for me. All you ahve to do is just plug the monitor in to the second port, disable nview, and restart you get two independent monitors, on my Abit ti4200.

Can you also watch TV on both monitors? (not at the same time) Thank you

The card is not a TV-tuner, if that is what you meant. But yeah, you can select which monitor should be cloned to TV, by selecting which device you want.

Works for me if I use the native dual monitor support of Windows XP. Windows will maximize and span on both screen however if I use the default Nvidia NVIEW configuration. There's a setting there however that will prevent this.

Yea, i think NView can work for me since i saw the demo they had of it on their site and it shows exactly the things that i wanted to do.
