Using Windows 98 and IE6 with the UltraMon 2.0 Beta 4 I'm getting the message "An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?" repeatedly on the desktop. I've tried disabling ActiveX prompting and blindly enabled all ActiveX controls just to see if that would make a difference and it didn't. Any ideas on how to get rid of these prompts?

I guess this started after running the remove_sfs.vbs script mentioned in the security alert?
I would recommend upgrading to RC1 (see the release notes for upgrade instructions).
If this isn't an option, you will need to mark the system object as safe for scripting again. This isn't especially risky, but it would allow a malicious website to disable secondary monitors for example (depending on browser security settings). Let me know if you would like to do this, I can send you a .reg file that makes the necessary registry changes.
