I have a P4 1.4Ghz w/384Mb
I have recently upgraded my video card to an.... Xtasy GeForce4 4400 128Mb DDR which has the following outputs.... DVI/S-video/and VGA
I am currently running my 17" off of the VGA output.
My questions are:
Can I run a second VGA monitor off of the DVI output by using a DVI to VGA adapter?
If so, are there disadvantages to using this adapter or both of these connections?
Besides buying an additional PCI video card, what would be a better setup?
Thanks for any help.

the adapter should be no problem, try contacting the manufactuer to confirm that U can use such an adapter with that card. Sounds like a good solution BTW.

Yes you can use a DVI->VGA dongle (adaptor) and it will work just fine.
