I've been trying to setup a second vid card and monitor with no success.

WindowsXP
AMD K6-550
ASUS P5A-B MB
ASUS GeForce2 GTS/Pro (AGP)
Matrox G220 (PCI)

I've gone into the BIOS and set the boot sequence to AGP/PCI. However, when I install the PCI card, the computer boots with that card, when Windows loads it only displays the new card in the device manager. My GeForce card is nowhere to be found.

I read through the database and there were others using the same vid cards and OS with no issues.

How do I get XP to recognize both cards? I'd like to use my GeForce as my primary card. I hope I'm not missing something deathly simple.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

I had *troubles* getting a Mystique 220 card to work as second/third card in WinXP. I never had it working fully, so I got a couple of Millennium II cards and they work like charm.

I suggest you scrap the M220 and look for Millennium II cards (MGA2164W). eBay probably has them, but any other local shop might have them. I got mine for dirt-cheap :) (6 euros/card, *included!* shipping & handling :)
