Go into the BIOS, set the PCI as Primary. (Boot Sequence PCI Card, or something similiar.)

I'm using the exact same cards under xp Same problem
When the pci adapter is set as primary i get a blue box on the agp monitor, but device manager still says code10.
when i'm running the agp as primary, i get no signal on the pci and device manager says code10.
Someone suggest something!

S3 cards do work under XP but so far as i have read there is no S3 card that works as a secondary video device. I am hoping that is wrong but so far it is what i have found.

I have WinXP with SP1.
And i have the same problem with a Gefrorce2 and S3 Trio 64 UV+.
Even if i remove the Geforce card and disinstall Nvidia driver, the S3 gives the same problem (code 10).
So i doesn't depend on AGP card (present or not) but only with S3 Trio card which is bad recognized/installed by WinXp.
Some help will be welcome. Thanks.

I'm about to shut down and remove the S3 trio 32/64 piece of s*** and literally throw it out my roach infested 1 bedroom apartment. If anyone wants it, look in alley 2, 57 Avenue, The Bronx NY
