I'm sure this is here somewhere, but this forum doesn't have a search option :(
I have a GF3 TI 200, and it has tv-out. I just want to have one screen show one thing, and the tv show another. Is this possible? I read that only GF2MX and GF4 can do this, but I was hoping maybe I didn't get the context right.

Using a tv as a second monitor is dumb, the resolution is too low to be worth the effort.

Tyler,
What abut watching DVD's on the TV whilst working on the PC?

emm... "Search forums, a box and a 'Go'-button"... reminds me of a forum search feature :)

Damn, I didn't see the search option because I just looked for it in the "Multi-monitor" section, not the main forum page. Sorry!
Yeah, I wanted the tv as a secondary monitor for friends to play old games on (zsnes, doom, etc), whilst I do my programming stuff on the main monitor.
BTW, noone actually answered. They just said it was stupid :(

Okay, the right Question would have been GF3 with TV out. This has been asked very often before. And I will answer it AGAIN(no offence): of all of the NVidia cards ONLY the GF2MX and the complete GF4 series offer two monitors with different content from a single card. No matter if two monitors, or a monitor and a TV.
