Hello all,
I recently acquired a Geforce3 Ti 500 (visontek) and am attempting to enable the multiple monitor configuration, but can't seem to get it working. Currently, the second monitor is getting a signal but it is just a duplicate of what is on the primary display. I noticed that in the display settings it doesn't show that I have two monitors connected. According to the documentation I have, this should work. The card has two outputs (one VGA, one DVI with VGA adapter, plus it has an svideo out) so I can see no reason why this shouldn't work. I have tried this with the latest detonator drivers and even with some of the previous versions as well. Any assistance would be appreciated.
some system specs (just in case): AMD AthlonXP 2000+ Asus A7S333 mobo 512MB Crucial PC2100 memory WinXP Pro OS all latest bios and drivers
Regards, Dave

Your Ti 500 does not have two RAMDACs. Sell and buy GeF 4 Ti 4200 or R8500.

Ok, i got ya. But this begs the question: Why in the hell does it have two outputs?

with this card it does seem strange, that the DVI -> VGA adapter was included. Otherwise my answer would have been that it has the 2 outputs for the different monitors (Dudi Flat, or CRT).
