Ok. I got my dual monitors working and it is awesome. I love it. One thing however. I have the big 19"er on the left of the laptop. How do I make the 19" the defualt vs the laptop monitor being the defualt.
My setup:
HP n5150 Laptop
S3Savage with DuoVue
Compaq mv900 monitor
Here is how it is set up right now.
Compaq monitor here Laptop monitor here
Basically I scroll all the way right to get to the left side of the other monitor. That is the problem. Please help me fix it....:(

And your OS is....?
(If Win2k/XP, you can set your primary via the Display Properties. In Win9x this is not possible.)

I was unable to do that in XP with a Dell inspiron 8200 (GeForce4)
I think the Laptop will always want to see the laptop screen as a default.

Im sure it wants to. But im also sure there is a way to get it to not see it as the default. Even if it comes down to messing with the bios I will make this work...Come on people I need ideas...

ME is basically a 9x system, so unfortunately, its not possible in that. :(
The OS *always* uses the BIOS primary as primary.

Well...I was looking at the BIOS and nowhere do I see anything for that...So is there no way to change it then????

If you can't change it in BIOS and are running ME (or any 9x) you *can't* change it. Sad, but true :/

Are you sure you cant set the PCI as primary in bios? Well I guess it isn't really pci. Just like my DH GF2MX. Since ME is a BS OS anyway, I'd suggest upgrading to 2000 or XP.

Exactly what setting am I looking for. I don't see anything for monitor stuff other than one that simply makes it do the whole start up schpeel on both monitors rather than just the one.
