I have been using the original Margie 211 drivers and can suspend my laptop OK. However the second monitor has a snowy corruption when the screen is updating.
I have tried the newer 212 drivers, this fixes the snow problem, but while the laptop suspends OK, when I try and resume, the laptop seems to be unable to resume and while the laptop wakes up the screen (laptop and second monitor are blank) is blank and the disk seems in a loop.
If I power cycle it shows a Margie driver error -> send to microsoft.
If I reinstall the old drivers system suspends ok again.
Any advice.

I would file a bug report, looks like a compatibility issue with your system.
Standby works fine for me with the 2.12 drivers (Windows XP, Dell Latitude).
