UltraMon 3.2.2 on Win 7.
I am unable to re-arrange taskbar icons in the Smart Taskbar using drag and drop in Win 7.
Is this available in 3.2.2 or do I need to use another utility?

That's not supported directly, but Taskbar Shuffle and Taskix support UltraMon and could be used to do this.

You sure about that?
AFIK, neither of those utilities support Windows 7.
It makes absolutely perfect sense that Ultramon itself should be updated to support this feature on its own smart task bars. [It's understansable to ignore drag-n-drop for the main taskbar supplied by Windows 7, but the Ultramon smart taskbars on my 5 other monitors badly need this feature]
Christian, you're in full control of the code for your own smart task bars, why has this feature never made into Ultramon?
If you omit worrying about the Windows taskbar, isn't this smart taskbar-only feature a relatively straight-forward development task?

As far as I know Taskbar Shuffle works fine with the UltraMon taskbars on Windows 7, it just doesn't work with the main taskbar.
Currently there are no plans to add new features to the Smart Taskbar (due to the built-in multi-monitor taskbar on Windows 8), but otherwise this would have certainly made sense.

Arrrgh, I think you're missing the boat.
I suspect there are many MANY people and companies that will stick with Windows 7, rather than upgrade to Windows 8 and beyond.
Windows 7 now has that same workhorse reputation that Windows XP enjoyed for well over a decade.
To deny an update to Windows 7 Ultramon users by pointing out the newer Microsoft features in Windows 8 ... seems like you're ignoring a huge chunk of your well-entrenched users.
You've got to see how, from my point of view, your telling me this feature is pointless because Windows 8 already has it -- well, phooey.
I'm not on Windows 8, and I see no need to upgrade.
I will continue to enjoy Windows 7 for, oh, maybe 5 or 6 more years. I feel disappointed and frustrated that you are so quick to abandon development that would greatly benefit your Windows 7 users.
The implied "upgrade to Windows 8 if you want that feature" subtle undertone to your reasoning is bit of a non-starter for me, as well as (I suspect) a huge chunk of your other Windows 7 users.
I understand the Microsoft development winds are blowing in the direction of making Ultramon's smart taskbar obsolete, but it's not obsolete for me, and it won't be for many years to come.
Would you please reconsider your position?

I agree with DT. My work is unlikely to upgrade to Windows 8 any time soon, and I'm sure there are plenty of others in the same boat.
Stopping development just because there's a newer version of Windows just means you're missing all of us unable to upgrade.
