Hi Everyone! (standard opener :) )
I am looking for someone who has experience running two monitors of a GF4 4200 on Windows 2000.
I know about the problems with changing resolutions and windows not recognizing the monitors seperateley. I also know about the registry driver "hack".
Now does anyone have experience getting the system to run properly with the new 40.72 Detonator drivers? Is the "hack" needed/does it work?
Additionally: For running a dual head system for professional graphics (and some 3D) applications (on two 22" CRTs, intending to use 1600x1200 at 85Hz), which would you recommend:
Leadtek Winfast GF4 TI 4200 64MB
64MB DDR AGP DVI-/TV-OUT VIVO
or
ATI Radeon 8500 64MB DDR AGP Dual Head
