Which quad card is better: Appian Rushmore or Nvidia Quadro 4?

I would think the Nvidia would perform better because of its 350 mhz RAM DAC vs Appian's 300 mhz RAM DAC. Both have 64 mb of DDR RAM. The Appian card uses ATI Radeon chipsets which I believe have not performed as well as Nvidia's chipsets. The Appian card is approx. $200 less expensive.

I have know clue which card is more stable.

Anybody have any info on these cards or done a comparison?

This may or may not be interesting to you, but have you tried modding the GeForce 4 cards to Quatro cards and benchmarking the cards?

Do a search in yahoo or google. After modding, the card actually get detected as a Quattro card and many benchmarks actually go up for workstation tasks. That makes me believe the chips are really the same, with the resisters on the card telling it to be a "GF4" instead of a "Quatro" card.
