Windows 8.1 Pro
I have taskbar buttons set to "Never combine". On my default monitor it works, but on the extended monitor, they are combined. Didn't do that with Windows 7...

This can be set separately for the primary and secondary taskbars on Windows 8, to change the setting right-click the taskbar and select Properties from the menu, then under 'Multiple displays' change the option 'Buttons on other taskbars'.
