Hi there, I have an GF4 ti4600 with dual-monitors connected to it, this worked just fine with the 30:82 nvidia drivers, but after upgrading to 40:72 I have no dual monitor support. The two blue "boxes" marked 12 under display properties dissapeared. Disp.properties is showing only the default view if you know what I mean. I cannot activate my second monitor.

40.72 WHQL worked great for me in Windows 2000 with dual monitors on my PNY Ti4200 card. I uninstalled 30.82 first though.
40.72 seems faster in 2D to me (I don't use any 3D apps).
My favorite change is that you can select different wallpaper for each monitor when using the OS multi-mon capabilities. But the settings are hard to find.

I have quite a few problems using the newer detonator versions, like playing dvd movies on my tvout(tvout runs through video player, i use dvdidle to remove macrovision, but under the newer dets, less of my tv is used when watching a movie, wierd hey)
Read somewhere that the newer ones also include built in macrovision, so if anybody else on later drivers is having problems like this I backdated to 29.42

Check out www.guru3d.com Lots of good advice about video cards, especially the forum on nVidia video cards. Lots of reports with problems with 40.72, especially when upgrading from 29.80 or 30.82.
Also, under "Downloads," go to "Videocard Drivers," then "NVIDIA Detonator Drivers," and read up on "Detonator Destroyer" and "Detonator 30.xx to 40.xx fix" utilities!
