if you had the choice to add one of these 2 cards to your pc as a secondary device (primary is a: asus 8200 deluxe) which one would you chose ?
right now i use a hercules 4000xt as secondary, but i have some problems with this card so i want to change it...
btw... os: windows xp

please just post me a few lines, cause i´m not quite sure which one to buy.
i have decision problems, cause the asus would fit perfectly to my other asus (i think ? ) but the matrox has a dvi output which is better (not sure?) for a tft device...
please post me just a short answer, cause for me its much money and i don´t want to buy the wrong card.

DVI is only an advantage if your LCD monitor has a DVI connector as well.
I would probably get the ASUS card, but make sure to check your configuration in the database first.

YEAH !!!
the asus 7100 pci finally arrived and it worked out from the first second !!!
i was so happy cause my old hercules 4000xt caused nothing but troubles as secondary device...
