I have a question which I'd really like an expert opinion on.
I currently have a Dell Studio 540 PC with Intel® Core™ 2 Quad-Core Q8200 Processor (2.33GHz, 4MB cache, 1333MHz FSB) and 4GB of RAM, running Vista at church. My current graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4670 512MB (PCIE x16).
It's not very modern, but it's still a very decent machine.
Screen 1 is running at 1680 x 1050 (PC monitor).
Screen 2 is running at 1920 x 1080 (Full HD projector).
The data screen is extended across the two.
I want to install a second graphics card to run a third screen at 1280 x 720 (Foldback monitor screens).
I have 1 card slot empty on my motherboard a PCIE x1.
I believe that because I'm running Vista, I should be getting a card which runs the same driver i.e. another ATI.
My initial thoughts are:
AMD Sapphire Firepro 2270 512MB DDR3
ATI FireMV 2250 256MB DDR2
ATI Radeon R5 230 1GB DDR3
Any suggestions of what to get (without spending a fortune)?
Are there any other things I need to consider e.g. power supply etc?

I would recommend replacing your current video card with one which supports 3 or more monitors, otherwise you'll need to make sure the second card really does use the same driver (which is indeed a limitation of Vista), and you'll also need to find a card which is compatible with PCIe x1, which most aren't (Nvidia does have some x1 cards, but I don't know if AMD/ATI do).
I don't know how Vista handles USB video cards, maybe the driver limitation applies as well, otherwise that might be an option.
