I don't play games. I use my computer for audio production (running software such as Cubase, Wavelab, Sonar, etc.) and would like to setup a dual monitor display; however due to the nature of my work, I don't really need much 3D processing power.

Most of the cards I've looked at (Radeon 8500, Geforce4 Ti, etc.) seem like overkill. They are expensive, and I don't need all the 3D features. Can someone recommend me a low-price dual monitor card?

I don't need super 3D graphics but I do want a card that's stable and won't cause any problems.

Thanks.

I'd go with Matrox. G4xx LE with 16Mb should do fine. can be found in many places for about $50 used.
