Hi folks,
Xmas day and I should be getting my new TFT, will I be able to use this in conjunction with my existing monitor if I use on board graphics for the CRT and my PCI graphics card for the new TFT? Will this be easy enough to do??

i dont think you will have a problem using a digital tft and an analog monitor with 9700.

btw, clarification, you can plug both your monitor and your tft (digital or analog) into your 9700. you don't need another pci card to use 2 displays. However, if you want to use another pci card with the 9700 for 3+ displays, thats another matter. I have been unable to get another pci vid card to work with the 9700 in my computer. and i haven't seen anyone else either. but try it anyway. maybe it will work for you. let me know if it does

Thanks for the responses Ferrari but it is the Radeon 7000 I have, not the 9700. It only has one SVGA outlet.
