I have used this card along with a S3 Virge DX for duals in Windows 2000, but when I upgraded to XP it stopped working. So I figured it was a compatability problem..I got a new mobo and processor and this combo still did not work in XP so it eliminates that problem. So I've also tried a Diamond Stealth Card with the S3 Vision 864, a Number Nine card with S3 Vision 968, a ATI Mach64, and a Real3D with i740 which does not even reconize in windows despite xp having built in drivers. I've been running all these PCI cards as the primary VGA device. The computer's bios screen shows up on one monitor and that image stays there while XP pops up on the secondary card which is the Radeon. when i get into XP the device manager says that the card could not find the necessary resources. I've disabled almost everything in the device manager to free up resources and still no dice. By the way I had a TNT2 card that works just fine doind dual in this puter, but obviously does not have the power of the Radeon i would like to use. If anyone has gotten the ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO to work dual can you give me a few tips? My Configuration: Asus A7V333 w/ RAID, Firewire, USB 2.0, and Sound Bios 1013 (I think) AMD Athlon 2100+ 512MB Corsair DDR3000 CAS 2.0 20GB Maxtor 7200 RPM ATA100 3COM 905b Windows XP Pro SP1 ATI Radeon 64Mb VIVO driver:6.13.10.6218 attempted PCI cards chipsets: S3 Virge DX S3 Vision 864, S3 Vision 968, ATI Mach 64, i740

Michael, check your manual for the VIVO. It probably says that the VIVO must be primary for the TV functions to work. This is true for the Radeon 8500DV, not sure on your model. Good luck.

Yea it does have to be primary for any of the fucntions like "tv out", "tv in" etc to work..but in win2k it would work with dual monitors but not in XP! OH well need a new card anyways that VIVO won't be able to hang much longer anyways!
