I am trying to display a mirror image on one monitor at the same speed as the source. One monitor is my TV using an HDMI output (source) and the other is a 19 inch monitor using VGA. The TV is at 1920x1080 and the monitor is at 1440x900. I set the screen update to 30 updates per second but the video still stutters. Any suggestions?

When mirroring is running, is the CPU running at full capacity? You can check this with Task Manager (on the Performance tab). Also let me know which version of Windows and UltraMon you're using.

Thank-you for the quick response. I am running Windows 10, CPU is at 60% and UltraMon 3.3.0.
Cheers.

In that case I don't think performance can be improved, other than by using a hardware solution (video card clone mode or a splitter), but then both monitors would need to use the same resolution.

Thanks, It seemed to work quicker on an older computer I had. I never noticed a difference in the monitors. I will play around.

Did you have a different video card? In my experience mirroring works better on newer versions of Windows, but the video card may also make a difference.
