Well, I reformatted my computer and setup my dual monitors with ultramon again. Well, for some reason it won't let me move a full screen window to the other monitor. I have to make it smaller in order to move it. I cannot move it with the mouse or with the button next to the minimize and close buttons. I click them and the buttons do not even depress. It does nothing. I use to be able to click on the window and a 4 way arrow would pop up and I could drag the full size window to the other screen.
It worked before I formatted and I do have the 'enable moving of maximized windows using the mouse' checked. What is going on?? :(
This is making me mad...

If you are using Nvidia video cards, try if disabling the nView Desktop Manager fixes the problem: Control Panel > NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager, uncheck 'Enable nView Desktop Manager'.

It's most likely a compatibility issue with an application you didn't have installed before.
You can use msconfig.exe to see what applications are being launched at system start. Take a look at both the Startup tab and the Services tab (check 'Hide All Microsoft Services' to see 3rd party services only).

I have the exact same stuf running now as I did before I formatted...
I just disabled nview again and I reinstalled my vid card drivers. That did nothing.

- operating system version
- version of UltraMon installed now and before formatting
- a screenshot of the msconfig Startup tab

oh, BTW, I can move dialog boxed with the move button in the corner, but I can't move windows whether they are maximized or downsized with this button.
But I can drag the window with the cursor over to the other monitor when it is downsized then maximize it again...
Just thought I'd let you know.
