Forums -> Multiple monitors -> one question with dualhead cards

Hello!
I need to execute two distinct applications I've made with Visual Basic 6.0.
I want each application running on separate monitor.
Application 1 --> Monitor 1
Application 2 --> Monitor 2

What is the best option?
a) Buy 2 video cards.
b) Buy 1 dualhead video card.

Do I have to use Multiple Monitors as one extended desktop or may I use them as independent displays? Which is the best option?

Many Thanks!

Dual head should be fine.

Buy a dual head. 2 Single cards can lead to possible conflicts and problems. Buy something like a matrox parhelia or matrox g550.

Independant displays are generally better because extended ones tend to put the dialog boxes which pop up in the middle, over both monitors, so you have to move them.
