I am using the ChangeWallpaper2 script to change wallpapers from a hotkey.
My normal modes are a single monitor or 3 monitors wide (but sometimes a fourth above the middle). All my wallpapers are three monitor wallpapers.
When I change with three monitors enabled all is well, but if I change with one monitor only, the wallpaper reverts to only the left 1/3 of the wallpaper. When that happens and I enable all three, the wallpaper is the same left 1/3 on all monitors.
As a result I need to only change wallpapers when 3 monitors are enabled, which restricts my ability to auto-change wallpapers.
Looking at the script it seems that this is a system call issue. If that is so is there any way of fooling the system into thinking there are always three monitors enabled when I change the wallpaper?
Failing that, as a fall-back kludge, is there a way of reloading the current wallpaper when I enable three monitors so that it is correct again? Somehow, I suspect MS will ignore a request to reload the current wallpaper ...

You would get this if UltraMon isn't configured to update the wallpaper in response to display configuration changes, to change this go to UltraMon menu > Wallpaper > Options and check the option 'adjust wallpaper when display configuration changes'.

Currently, without the 'adjust wallpaper when display configuration changes' option enabled, when I change from three to one monitor the desired part of the wallpaper, the centre third, stays on the centre monitor. That is, what is shown as desktop on the centre monitor does not change whether one or three monitors are enabled. This is want I want, which is why it the option not currently enabled.
If I enable the option, the centre monitor shows the left third of the wallpaper when only it is enabled, and that is not what I want.
Enabling the option makes no difference when changing wallpapers with only the centre monitor enabled. It still shows the left third of the wallpaper after changing.

Just set the style option for the wallpaper to Center, this will give you the same behavior.

That was pretty obvious. I really should read more. Thanks!
