i am interested in setting up a multi-monitor system and i was just wondering if most people use two different monitors and two different video cards in their setups or if they use the same. i am a little worried about getting a headache if i am looking at two different brands of monitors(even though they both look pretty good).

i just set up my machine with two different monitors and two different video cards (S3 375 and 325). Seems to work fine except I get a horizontal fine line that moves up on one monitor and down on the other. Not that annoying though.
Have fun

Try using a different refresh rate for each monitor to get rid of the line.
See the FAQ on interference for more information on this.

Try using what cards u have first the cheep ones u upgraded from thats what i did. I have several systems now with multi mons.
Try moving the monitors just a shade further apart too and at diferent angles in order to eliminate any magenetic scanning interferance.
