After reading the GamePC review about 2D quality being noticeably better on the Matrox card, I'm kind of at a dilemma on which one would be the better choice for me.
The card will power a 21" Sony Trinitron G500 as primary, probably around 1600x1200x32 and higher - I'll figure out my eyesight limits as soon as I get the monitor :)
But I do like to play the occasional game of Unreal Tournament or any other 3D game, and the MX would show it's power here.
Is the 2D quality that much more inferior on the Geforce MX when compared to the Matrox G450/400, especially at high resolutions?
