Hi
I've just bought myself a Leadtek geforce2mx DH for a small amount of money, and i cant get the twinview to work. My 2 monitors are far from the same. One is a 17" and the other one is a 15". Is that the couse of the problem? do you have to have 2 monitors that are identical? or what requriments are there (cant find any info at retailers website)
I've tried to set the 2nd monitor at 640x480x256 but it didnt work.
Im running Millenium for now, but what ive heard it supports twinview.
well, i appreciate all help.
thanks in advance.

I have the same trouble with that card... Is their any workout? It works neither under Win98SE nor under Win 2000. I get it run under Win98SE onetime so I don't believe that it is a hardware problem. Is their any fixes available?

Look @ this page... it should work

Well, ive finnaly got it to work now. Ive installed win2000 and after been tweaking around i got it to work. But theres still some trouble;

1. everytime a restart my computer (or just switch it on) i have to go into the display option and change the 2nd monitor from tv to crt.

2. i cant have higher resulotion than 1600x600. im using 6.31 since i cant find the 7.17 drivers anywhere, anyone know of a site in english?

if you, Ghent, still havnt got it to work, send me a email.
...and its really bad that you cant have diffrent resolution on the monitors :(
(or can you?)

Although I'm using different hardware (ELSA Synergy III with NVidia Quadro2 MXR) I had similar problems in Twinview with a maximum resolution of 1600x600 after reboots. My problems disappeared when I removed my Misubishi monitor driver and used the standard Windows 2000 Default monitor driver.

Hope this is useful.

Here's a quote from the GeForce FAQ:

Q. I have a TwinView setup but when my computer reboots the second display is blank. How can I fix it?

Read the following article on eVGA.com:

This (temporary) fix worked for me. The latest official Nvidia driver (6.31) didn't.

Just download the latest drivers from http://www.3dchipset.com/beta/nvidia/nvidia.html

I use the Detonator 7.5.2.0 beta drivers and w2ksp1 with twinview with success
Be sure to turn Nvidia Desktop Management on (under nvidia logo in systray)

FWIW (a few months later) I managed to get Win2k working with my Leadtek card. I had to install the nvidia detonator 12 series drivers, but I'm now running with dual display on a sony 15sf and an ibm p70 monitor.
