I'd like to buy 1 multi-head or some 1-head graphic boards to get an extended desktop up to 4/5 CRT-monitors. What's your suggestion? I'd like to get Open-GL HW acceleration on all screens and to run applications on the "ultra-wide virtual monitor". How can I achive the highest res? Can I play my DVDs on this "ultra-wide virtual monitor" zooming-in to fit a 2,5:1 video? What's the best OS (WIN 2K PRO?)? THX for support.

Quad (4-monitor) video cards are available from Appian, Colorgraphic, Matrox (MMS series) and Nvidia (Quadro NVS series).
Nvidia has good support for hardware-accelerated OpenGL across multiple monitors/video cards.
Playing DVDs across the whole desktop won't work.
I would recommend Windows XP, just as stable as Windows 2000, and better support for multihead video cards.
