Hi! I'm thinking about changing my graphiccards: I want to use a Matrox G450 PCI Dual as my primary card because of the good signal quality and multimonitor-support. Additional to that, I want to use a Geforce4200Ti AGP as a secondary Card, just to play 3D-Games (on just one display). So, is it possible to run all Direct3D-Games on the secondary card or will they use the primary PCI-card (and how could you change this?)?
Thank you very much, Bullitt

Most games will only run on the primary monitor. If you are using Windows 2000/XP, the primary monitor can be changed on the fly, so you could set the Nvidia card as primary before playing a game, and then change it back to the Matrox.

BTW, not sure if this will work with OpenGL games as well. It's possible that OpenGL will only be hardware-accelerated on the monitor which is primary in the BIOS.
