I have a 6 screen system on the following
Asus p4s533 mobo
Pentium4 1.8@ 2.4ghz
768mb PC2700
IBM Deskstar 60gb
Geforce4 TI 4600
Voodoo3 PCI 16mb
Matrox Millenium 4mb
Matrox Millenium 4mb
Matrox Millenium 4mb
Sound Blaster Live! (original)
WinXP Professional
My problem is whenever there is any motion on the voodoo3 and sound is playing at the same time, the sound hisses and crackles. I have checked in the device manager and they are on different IRQ's. On the sound card i have the Microsoft version of the drivers loaded because the machiene locks up whenever i try to install the creative drivers pack (i dont know why this happens but this is the second machiene that this has happened to). If anyone else has heard of this problem please tell me what you have done to fix it.

I don't know if this is the answer to your problem, but I downloaded the latest SB LIVE! drvier from their website and it fixed the problem.

I actually had the exact same problem. But my video card died soon after that, so I bought a new one, the crackling stops.
The crackling stills happens on occasion with my new cards and sound card, but not any where near as bad as with my VooDoo PCI.
