I configured two cards: Matrox G450 agp, and ATI rage128 chipset in PCI slot. I got this working after adjusting bios to boot from PCI and loading ATI drivers before installing card.
Now I've installed an ADS Pyro firewire card and got that working, and the system will not boot if the ATI card is in. It goes blank when it should start Windows 2000. If I try to open in safe mode, it brings up the Win2k options for starting, but won't actually start up. If I try booting AGP card first, it loads 2000, but a blank desktop & mouse pointer appear. Basically, I can't have the PCI graphics card in the machine at all.
I'm going to try the latest ATI drivers tonight, but if anyone has had this problem, well any help would be good.
