OK, so far all has been well with ultramon (with the exception of my users trying to do bizarre things), but I have run into a little issue.
When running a Powerpoint presentation on the primary monitor and mirroring it to a projector, when an embedded movie file is played, the video shows correctly on the primary, but only the first frame of the video shows up on the mirror. Dragging the mouse pointer over the video area will cause the "mouse trail" to be updated on the mirror.
The system is XP with a Geforce4 and a Matrox G450 (both dual head). Ultramon 2.0
I'm going to upgrade to Ultramon 2.1, as well as Media Player and DirectX.
Any other ideas?

UltraMon can't mirror video overlays (and 3D applications).
You might get it working by disabling video overlays (mirroring options, 'disable video overlays and 3D acceleration'), but this might cause problems with some video players and will reduce performance.
