Someone in one of the newsgroups suggested that if you pair a slower video card with a faster one (in my case, an ATI AIW 7500AGP with a Xpert128PCI) video will slow on both monitors to the slower card (much like with using different speeds of ram). Is this true?

Both cards operate independently, the speed of the secondary card has no impact on the performance of your primary card.

What about if you have a video card that support dual monitors

I have a Radeon9000 so windows runs it as a primary and secondary display adapter off that card.

If i set the secondary display adapters properties to running in higest quality, wouldnt tnat slow down the primary adapater?
