I just installed an ATI Radeon Dual video card on my Dell 4500, which has Windows XP, in order to set up a second independant monitor. The second monitor will not work independantly, it displays whatever is on the first monitor. How can I get the second monitor to work independantly from the first monitor? The program I'm using is a music sequencer and I want to be able to display the sequencer on one monitor and the available mixer and other parameters within the program on the other. (I also have the original video card, that came with the computer, which is a ATI Rage 128.)

Right click on the desktop and select proporties-->advanced. Take a look around this menu, somewhere you should a "clone" option which you need to disable.
