I get this BSOD randomly when I watch a video on the TV (that i set to primary through ultramon) and use internet explorer on the monitor.
I have a Radeon 9700 and use the 3.1 drivers.
Any suggestion?

This is most likely an issue with the ATI display driver, the name of the driver causing the problem should be listed on the BSOD screen.

You're right.
Now i'm able to reproduce manually the Bsod.
With Outlook express opened, if i enable or disable the secondary monitor from the control panel (with Ultramon closed) i get the Bsod.
The strange thing is that it don't report the service or the driver that caused the Bsod.
Who is to blame, Microsoft or Ati? Maybe both :)

If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, you could also test if it is related to the mirror driver used by UltraMon. This driver is present (though not active) even if UltraMon isn't running.

To remove the mirror driver, go to Add/Remove Programs, select UltraMon, click on Change, select 'modify installation', then deselect the Mirroring feature. After rebooting, the mirror driver will no longer be loaded. You can easily reinstall the mirroring feature later on.

Thanx for the suggestion.
I already tried with the mirroring driver disabled.
The result don't change.
I'll update the video driver to 3.2 amd see if this makes any difference.
