Forums -> Multiple monitors -> TV out = Low Frequency Humm and Crawling lines

Hopefully someone will be able to give me some sort of direction on this, lord knows noone else has been able to.

I want to run my tv as a second monitor on my computer so I can watch Divx movies on my tv while I'm surfing. The setup I have works perfectly, with one minor problem. I get a low frequency buzz from the TV's Audio and slow moving lines of lightness crawl up the picture.

I have tried dozens of different cables, different TV's, different computers, but I always get the same thing....to varying degrees.

Does anyone know how to combat this? Any experience?

My computer specs follow.

AMD Athlon 1800+
MSI KT333 Ultra ARU mobo
Radeon 9700 AGP video card with 128mg
512 megs of ram
Santa Cruz sound card

I have a standard "rca" cable running from the TV's input to the video cards included svideo adapter, which then plugs into the svideo port on the video card. And YES, I have tried it with a standard svideo cable to no avail.

I also have a rca cable, with an adapter, running from the soundcard output to the rca input on the tv.

I have tried countless configurations over the past few years and have found no sure-fire solution.
