I really missing being able to remove and dock the toolbars to the side of my desktop. I'm not sure why MS saw fit to remove that functionality.
Any chance Ultramon could bring it back?

Would you want a setup where you have taskbars at the bottom, and toolbars on the left and right?

Yeah - like the old taskbar toolbars in XP which you could dock anywhere. I actually like the style where they are always on top and reduce the desktop size (i.e., they don't overlay a maximised window, but change the size of the desktop so a maximised window fits around them). I've tried a few 'dock' programs but they mostly seem to use an auto-hide / overlay setup which doesn't work very well at the edges of a multi-monitor setup.
