Hibernate mode stopped working after I updated my NVidia drivers for my PNY Ti4200 from 40.72 to 43.45.

When I resume from hibernate mode, one monitor displays junk and one is blank. Standby mode still works fine. I'm running Windows 2000/SP3.

Do I have to revert to the older drivers to fix Hibernate? I never had a problem with Hibernate with the 40.72 drivers.

same problem. thought it was just me.

Nvidia drivers are getting more crap as the mature... I think it's due to the FX support.

As a side note: My FX 5800 ultra will not work in multi-monitor mode. Causes Stop EA... device driver locked in thread error

I updated to 44.03 drivers, and I still can't recover from a hibernate. I guess I'll have to go back to the old 40.72 drivers, and hope Hibernate mode starts working again.

I did contact PNY, and I got a quick response with lots of suggestions, but the bug is still there for me.

I didn't get a quick response from them... but when they did respond it had a lot of suggests; but it was clear that was the "form" reponse.

Well, after trying a number of things to get Hibernate to work with 43.45 and 44.03 drivers, I finally reverted to older drivers, and hibernate works fine again.

Fortunately, I didn't have to go all the way back to the 40.72 drivers I had been using. I got hibernate working by using 41.09 drivers.
