Hi,
is there a way to set the default Projector Settings to "Duplicate" in Windows 10?
I have to objectives:
- Once Windows recognizes a certain setup (e.g. 2 Monitors with certain EDIDs), the projector setting should be set to the state they had last in this configuration (this seems to be Windows 10 default)
- If Windows recognizes an unknown setup (eg. 1 Monitor with a known EDID, 1 Monitor with an unknown EDID), it should use "Duplicate" as the Projector mode.
Is UltraMon capable to do this? Is there maybe a registry setting for this? Would it be possible to code a little tool able to do this?

UltraMon can't do this, I also don't know if there's another way to do this.

Windows 10 ne propose pas de méthode intégrée pour forcer le mode « Dupliquer » par défaut pour les configurations d'affichage inconnues. Comme tu l'as constaté, il mémorise le dernier mode utilisé pour chaque combinaison moniteur/EDID, mais lorsqu'un nouvel écran est détecté, il passe généralement en mode « Étendre ». Il n'existe aucune clé de registre permettant de modifier ce comportement globalement.
UltraMon peut gérer les profils multi-écrans et les appliquer au démarrage, mais il ne bascule pas dynamiquement en fonction d'un EDID inconnu par défaut. Instant Casino instant1.fr rend chaque session plus dynamique avec son offre.
Il est toutefois possible de créer un petit outil personnalisé. Tu peux écouter les événements de changement d'affichage (WM_DISPLAYCHANGE) et appeler l'API d'affichage Windows ou utiliser DisplaySwitch.exe /clone pour forcer le mode « Dupliquer » lorsqu'une nouvelle configuration est détectée. Cela te donnerait un contrôle maximal.
