Good morning

I wonder if any of you already got this issue.
I have 3 monitors, ands in windows 10 I was able to hide the taskbar on monitor 3.
When I upgraded to windows 11, when I start the PC the taskbar is on all 3 monitors, I need to go the "ignore monitors" TAB and choose "don't add taskbar", the problem is that it don't save this change, I always need to do this every time I start the PC.

Can you help?
Many thanks
José Alves

Hey José,
Yes, it’s a known issue since early Windows 11 builds. The system sometimes resets “ignore monitors” options after a reboot. A workaround is to use ExplorerPatcher or StartAllBack — they restore proper multi-monitor taskbar control and save your layout.
I ran into this too while testing fullscreen mode across three monitors for geometry dash— Windows kept reattaching the taskbar, which threw off the alignment.

The physics engine makes sure Melon Playground that everything acts and responds in a way that is either realistic or hilariously realistic. As if they were ragdolls, the melons bounce, break, fly, and flop around, making every moment of destruction very satisfying to watch.

I'd try this:

Check whether Windows is actually saving your DisplayFusion (or similar 0010110 code tool) settings. Sometimes the config file gets stuck as read-only after an upgrade. Running the app once as administrator can fix that.

In Windows 11, some taskbar behaviors override third-party settings on startup. A lot of people have had better luck after disabling “Show my taskbar on all displays” directly in Windows Settings → Personalization → Taskbar → Taskbar behaviors.

If you’re using DisplayFusion: try exporting your settings, then re-importing them. This forces the profile to rewrite itself and often makes the “ignore monitors” choice stick again.

If none of that helps, it might be a Windows 11 bug affecting multi-monitor taskbars. A few users reported the same thing, so you’re not alone.

Best.

That's a frustrating issue! I haven't personally experienced it, but it sounds like a persistent bug. Have you tried checking the Windows Update history to see if any recent updates might be causing the conflict? Sometimes a rollback can temporarily solve things. Maybe also check the Sprunki forums - they have a great community and someone there might have a solution specific to multi-monitor setups and Windows 11. Good luck!
