That's such a good question, honestly it depends so much on what I'm looking for. If it's a new release I want right away, I usually go for a big retailer just because they're fast and reliable. But if I'm hunting for something rare or out of print, I end up digging through second-hand sites or small independent sellers, sometimes you find absolute gems there. Shipping costs definitely play a role too, I've definitely passed on a book because the postage was more than the book itself. And I try to support local bookshops when I can, especially for gifts or special editions, it just feels nicer to know where your money is going. It really depends on what I'm looking for. New releases I usually grab from a big retailer just because it's faster. But if I'm after something rare or a second-hand find, I'll check smaller shops, you can stumble on some great deals that way. Shipping costs definitely play a role too, sometimes I've skipped a book just because the delivery was crazy expensive. And I try to support local sellers when I can.
