As opposed to asking for help without providing any information on your system, try reading, especially the "Guide" portion of this site. It will answer most of your questions. You can also read posts in this forum.

You'll need: An OS that supports dual monitors (Win98/ME/2000/XP, and lots of non-Windows OSes), 2 video outputs (2 cards or one dual out card), and two monitors.
You can find most everything you need to know by reading this site. If you have specific questions after reading all that's available on this site, then please post your specific questions in the forum.
