Does anyone know if the Windows 2000 dual-monitor support allows you to overlap the display channels?

The card I intend to use is the Intense3D WildcatII 4210, with dual stereo display outputs and external genlock. The host machine will be an SGI Zx10 VE Tower. I wish to overlap the channels by 20% (10% each) and then apply external hardware to create a seamless edge-blended projected image.

Not by default as far as I know, but it may be possible with a custom display driver.

Intriuging idea. Be sure to post a picture if you get it working!

(I did this once with two non-overlapping projected images in a huge installation. Was basically good enough... see http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/people/edelman/mmarchive/ICANN_Yokohama/Room%5FWide%5F2%2Ejpg for a picture. Note that we moved the projectors 3" to 6" closer together for the "let's see how this works for a multiscreen seamless projection" test.)
