Ok, here is my dilema. I work at the front desk of an office and we bought a flat screen monitor to display pictures and messages on the front desk, so that people can view them as they arrive.
I set up the extra monitor without a problem. My dilema is with software; I can't get a slide show program to work on the second monitor; I also need a program that would allow me to place a message like "Time cards are due this Friday" on the second monitor. I downloaded G foto, but found it very difficult to use.
Any suggestions are greatly apreciated.

Find an old, unused computer to connect to the monitor to do the slideshow. You can probably use just about any old computer for that. That doesn't really sound like a good use for a second video out on someone's workstation computer.
